P2X is an amplifier and power supply technology which combines energy storage, power conversion, and ClassHD® switching amplification. P2X stores energy and tracks the audio signal, resulting in 5 to 8 times higher peak power and 4 times longer battery (from battery and power-limited sources).

P2X expands available peak power without exceeding the source’s rated average. P2X incorporates energy storage within the amplifier to smooth out the musical peaks by:
  • Using stored energy to supply extra power to the amplifier during peaks
  • Recharging stored energy in between peaks

P2X™ enables portable, low-cost system designs with:
  • Smaller battery packs
  • Higher peak power from battery, adapter, and USB power sources
  • Lower idle power consumption and longer play time
  • No heat sinking

When compared to Class D, Audera’s P2X amplifier is a perfect fit for low cost portable and USB applications where higher peak power, smaller battery, and longer battery life are needed.

Patented energy storage and smoothing circuitry extends battery life of the wireless audio system without compromising high power capability. It has 2 x 10W (or 1 x 20W) RMS capability (25ms into 2R resistive load) and low idle power consumption of 180mW. Onboard compressor automatically adjusts gain to control output clipping during overdrive events. Has Bluetooth 2.0 support.
